Haskell Corporation was selected as one of the two mechanical contractors contracted to build a new polysilicon plant located in Moses Lake, Washington. The new $800 million plant increase REC’s production capacity by approximately 6,500 metric tons per year. Haskell’s scope included constructability, management, supervision and labor to install approximately 125,000 linear-feet of process piping, set over 2000 tons of structural steel and erected over 300 pieces of equipment ranging from large vertical towers and tanks to heaters, pumps, compressors and large transformers. Haskell's peak manpower exceed 600 personnel. This extremely fast-track project completed in the fourth quarter of 2008.
