BP Sunshine Boiler Project

Project Details:

The project consisted of three phases.  The first phase consisted of the East Refinery Upgrade including new underground firewater, potable water, utility water, storm sewers and oily water sewers.  Included in the phase was the piling effort next to the operating utilities and boiler unit.  Foundations for the new pipe rack to support the OBL phase of the work and connection to the new nitrogen unit.  The second phase included erection of the pipe rack and the interconnecting mechanical piping systems to incorporate the IBL Phase.  The IBL phase included all foundations, underground piping and electrical for the installation of two 240,000 LB/Hr boilers, and the interconnecting piping to bring the utilities to and from the boiler.  Throughout all three phases Haskell Corporation provided coordination between the engineer and multiple subcontractors
